What do you have for Christmas dinner? For some it’s always going to be turkey, for others it’s ham or prime rib. Some parts of the U.S. have other traditional foods like lasagna, tamales, and even tofu! A new survey ranks the top 58 dishes for Christmas dinner from best to worst.
No real surprises in the top 10: Roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, turkey, bread or rolls, stuffing, prime rib, roast beef, steak, chicken or Cornish hen, and roast pork. Ham finished in 11th and lasagna, yes lasagna finished 12th. I can tell you from personal experience, it’s very popular in the northeast.
According to the survey, the 10 worst Christmas dinner dishes are tofu, plantains, turnips, goose, cabbage, collard greens, duck, coleslaw, black eyed peas, and empanadas.
Here are the most popular dishes by region:
I hope you had a delicious Christmas dinner and enjoy the leftovers!
