Brackenridge Park

San Antonio’s Brackenridge Park is home to the San Antonio Zoo, Kiddie Park, the Sunken Garden Theater, Japanese Tea Garden, the San Antonio Zoo Eagle miniature railroad, Tony “Skipper” Martinez ball fields, and Brackenridge Park Golf Course.  The Witte Museum is also located on the perimeter.  The 343 acre park was created in 1899 from land donated to the city by George Washington Brackenridge.
