The River Walk is synonymous with San Antonio, attracting an estimated 11.5 million tourists annually. The River Walk has two parallel sidewalks lined with restaurants and shops that wind and loop from the Shops at Rivercenter, past the Arneson River Theatre, the Alamo and La Villita to Hemisfair Park, past the historic Tower Life Building (pictured) to the San Antonio Museum of Art and the Pearl. During the holidays, over 100,000 lights are draped over the towering Cypress trees that line the River Walk.
